This time last year I was wondering how to introduce the autumn card when we hadn’t experienced summer down south. This year we’ve had a glorious summer although going by the forecast it might already be packing up its bags and moving on. I’m well and truly prepared for autumn with the collection today of 6700 poetry cards. Here’s a sneak peek at the colour to be looking out for at medical centres, rest homes, hospices and prisons on March 1.
Right now the poems are being transcribed by the Blind Foundation so March 1 is also the distribution date for the braille poetry booklets around New Zealand.
SINCERE THANKS to the person who made an anonymous donation today and also for your very kind comments about the poetry cards. Words like yours inspire me to work even harder to find ‘perfect poems’ for our waiting room cards.
