Books, on the House

TINY LIBRARIES POPPING UP AROUND METRO NEIGHBORHOODS OF DENVER, COThe 2015 Poems in the Waiting Room (NZ) project is under way.

We’re establishing little neighbourhood libraries, book boxes, or the name we’re playing with right now is, “Books, on the House”. They’ll be placed around Dunedin properties in the coming months and people will be welcome to “take a book, leave a book”.

If you would like to help design/build a book box or supply books/donate building materials/paint, please get in touch with me.

If you think you’d like to become a Guardian and have one on your property then contact me so we can talk about suitability and requirements.

I came across these in USA, Canada and many places in Europe. A neat (book houses) idea. J

Oh, I am glad to see this happening here in NZ.
